Our mission is to witness to Jesus as the Messiah and Son of the living God and to bring the good news of Jesus and our salvation to all in our community.

But more than that, we want to apply Christian principles to our own lives so that, as a group, the family of St Mark’s will provide support, fellowship, pastoral care and spiritual direction to all who seek it.

Our vision is of a church set on a hill, open to all, outward-looking, with buildings and people committed and equipped to meeting the spiritual and pastoral needs of the whole community.

As the established Church of the nation, St Mark’s represents the "official" Church of England in the community to enable baptisms, weddings, funeral and state occasions to be celebrated in the house of God.
