Whilst daily private meditation and prayer is important for the personal development of our relationship with God, it is collective worship which forms the bedrock and sense of belonging upon which all Christian work is built.
Although we have many active groups and committees who meet and work throughout the week, as Christian brothers and sisters, we gather each Sunday and Wednesday for formal collective worship.
From the very earliest times, groups of Christians have met together for teaching, guidance, sustenance and prayer. We continue this tradition each Sunday with our service of Holy Communion at 8.00 am followed by the Parish Communion service at 10.30. On the first Sunday in the month, we have two non-Communion Family Services, one in the hall and one in the church, which is often more relaxed prayer and praise services.
In addition to our normal Sunday services, we often have special services including a special service for the disabled, Evening Prayer and REFRESH!, our informal service.
Full details of special services can be found on the Forthcoming Events section of this site when appropriate.
